The Massachusetts Cultural Council has awarded David Binder a 2011 Artist Fellowship in Film for Calling My Children.
David previously received a Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist Fellowship in 2001 in Photography for his project on Rebekka Armstrong.
According to the Massachusetts Cultural Council, this is a very rare occurrence that one person has been recognized by these Fellowships in 2 different fields.
